Whole Food Supplementation

Throughout your day, do you think you are getting enough nutrients and vitamins? Think about the foods you eat.. do you regularly eat a healthy diet? Is half of your plate fruits and vegetables? Most of the time it's hard to eat perfectly. With our fast moving society we tend to eat poor processed foods, refined grains, and foods that are high in sugars and fat. Since we are most likely not getting what we need why don't we get some help through whole food supplementation.

The process starts with whole foods such as beets or peas from the store. Then the ingredients are prepared to safeguard their nutritional value. After, the ingredients are added to whole food extracts which may include, animal tissue extracts, botanicals, whole food isolates, and synthetic ingredients. Nutrient density is supported through optimal soil health. There are no synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or GMOs. We will be getting all the nutrients that we aren't getting from our diet, in a whole food form!

By taking supplements, you will be getting the proper amount of nutrients that will boost your immune system and at the same time they also contain photochemicals that fight off disease.  Whole food supplements can help with digestive issues, lower blood pressure, rebuild nerve tissue and give you more energy. It is times to promote a healthy and well fed body. We need to give our body the right nutrients in order to sustain optimal health.

Did you know 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer? Even though you can't prevent cancer, there are still steps you can take to lower your risk. Family history can't be changed but your lifestyle can be.

Make sure to maintain a healthy weight. If you are overweight you will have a higher change of getting breast cancer. Make sure to eat a healthy diet and get the adequate amount of exercise which means 30 minutes each day. Also, watch how much alcohol you consume. Try to limit the amount you drink in a day as this can also increase your risk. There is also some evidence between smoking and breast cancer. This unhealthy habit should not be apart of your lifestyle as it can cause serious problems for your health.

But ladies, don't stop there. Make sure to do self breast exams each month, get scheduled exams by your doctor, and have a mammogram. Wouldn't you want to catch it early? Don't be lazy and have an early detection plan!
